THIS WEEK IN MUSTANG SPORTS (OCT 27-31) • FOOTBALL SECTIONAL PLAY STARTS TONIGHT! The Mustangs host the Parke Heritage Wolves in a rematch from last Friday’s WRC finale, in which the Mustangs prevailed 56-6. o If the Mustangs win tonight, they will face the South Putnam/Attica winner next Friday. o Notes from the IHSAA for sectionals:  Tickets are $8 (cash or card). Online purchasing LINK.  The IHSAA does not permit signs, banners, noisemakers, etc. at post-season events.  No fan lines on field.  Team personnel and admin in the field area only.  No drones are allowed. • LILLY NEWLIN runs TOMORROW (Sat, Oct 25) in the cross-country regional at Brownsburg East Middle School. o Saturday’s girls’ race will begin at approx. 11:15 am, following the boys race. Tickets are $10.95 and can be purchased online at https://public.eventlink.com/tickets?t=145345. Brownsburg does not accept cash for tickets. o The address for the race is Brownsburg East Middle School, 1250 Airport Rd, Brownsburg, IN 46112 • FCMustangs.com has a new look. While it is the same address, the athletics website is now directly connected to EventLink, so you can view the most accurate schedules, see results, and purchase tickets all in the same place. We are still building the site, so be patient if you are not yet seeing something you are looking for. • Mark your calendars for the FC Fall Sports Banquet – Wednesday, Nov 12, 7pm, in the cafeteria. • FC holds their annual Veterans Day Program in the Main Gym on Friday, Nov 7. • We will be celebrating Academic Awards Night Tuesday, Oct 28 in the Main Gym. • The Mustang FFA has a busy week next week with the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.
