Fountain Central beats Parke Heritage 56-6 and sets up the rematch next week in Sectional Play! Fountain Central scored 56 unanswered points after trailing 6-0 in quarter 1 to cruise to a 5-2 WRV record. Tim Presley had a 31 yard TD run to open the game but that was all for the Wolves as FC scored 56 unanswered points. Eli Foxworthy scored on a 38 yard run, Noah Dodson on a 6 yard run to allow FC to take a 14-6 lead early in the 2nd quarter. The Mustangs then scored on a Foxworthy to Nolan Acton 7 yard pass, a Foxworthy to Noah Dodson 9 yard pass, and a Foxworthy to Asher Davis 22 yard pass to take a 42-6 lead into halftime. The Mustangs continued their scoring with a Dodson 25 yard run in the 3rd quarter and followed their scoring in the 4th quarter with a 7 yard run by Freshman Josiah Straw in the 4th quarter. Kicking duties for the Mustangs were handled by Uriah Wildman going 8 for 8 on point after tries. The Wolves travel to Fountain Central for their first round of Sectional action next Friday with a 7 pm starting time. FC stands at 5-4 and 5-2 in the WRC.
