THIS WEEK IN MUSTANG SPORTS (SEPT 29-OCT 4) • Fountain Central FFA hosted this year’s District Kickoff - We hosted over 160 FFA members from District 4 FFA! This includes Attica, Benton Central, Covington, Lebanon, McCutcheon, North Montgomery, Seeger, Southmont, Western Boone and Harrison. Students built leadership skills during breakout sessions, constructed new friendships and had a blast learning about opportunities within FFA and beyond! Our District 4 officers (including FC FFA chapter and District 4 President, Jessie Frazee), Indiana FFA State Officers and our Section II Director led various games, activities and sessions to interact with members and grow their personal and professional skills! The facilities here at Fountain Central were a perfect fit for our needs and hosting energized FFA members! • The varsity volleyball team came in 1st place in the Traders Point “Light up the Court Tournament” on Saturday, defeating Tri, IMCAN, Traders Point, and Tipton. • The JV Volleyball team won the Bi-County Tournament at Seeger on Saturday. • Boys Tennis began the WRC tournament Saturday morning. Semifinals and finals are Monday, as FC’s Ayden Batchelor aims for a conference championship. Boys tennis sectional play begins Wednesday at Fountain Central.
