Fountain Central 40 Covington 12 FC opened the game with a 92 yard kickoff return by JD Allen that set up a 1 yard td run by Nolan Acton. Asher Davis' kick made it 7-0 FC in the 1st quarter. FC then scored on a 20 yard drive capped by a Nolan Acton 14 yard run. Kick failed. 13-0 FC Covington then answered with a 66 yard TD throw from Smith to Hill. Run failed. 13-6 FC FC responded with a 55 yard drive capped by a Nolan Acton 5 yard run and an Acton to Batchelor pass. 21-6 FC FC gained control of the ball with 1:00 left and mounted a 50 yard drive scoring with a 12 yard pass from Acton to Batchelor with 15 seconds left in the half to take a 27-6 lead into halftime. FC scored again in the 3rd period with a 9 yard pass from Acton to Batchelor. 33-6 FC Covington responded ran a 1 yard run by Smith. (run failed) 33-12 FC completed the score with a 4 yard run by Dakoda Willoughby and an asher Davis kick in ght 4th quarter FC 40 Covington 12 FC is 1-3 and 1-1 in the WRC and will host Attica next Friday for homecoming.
