Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School

The Fountain Central Mustangs battled hard against the Trojans with every player giving 110% effort throughout the night. Patience Bixler led the Mustangs with five kills followed by Aubrey Ashwill with four and Makayla Carnahan with three. Chloe Ayers finished the night with four blocks while Riley Deel and Ashwill contributed three blocks each. Savannah Bowers finished the night with 2 blocks and an ace. Mallory Massey was on fire in the back row sacrificing her body at times to keep the ball alive. The defensive presence of Citrus Wesley, Kendyl Nolan, and Cadence White was felt as they returned tough attacks from the Trojans. The Mustangs showed heart, determination, and a willingness to fight for every point. The JV had a huge win against Covington in 3 sets. After dropping the first set 21-25, the Mustangs fought together to win the next two 26-24 and 15-10. Kynleigh Elkins finished with 7 kills, followed by Jaly Kirkpatrick with 5, and London DePugh with 4. Katelyn Depugh had a successful night in back row with 12 digs. Madison Newnum had a great night on serve receive and Aubrey Synesael came in clutch with her serves. Great work by all players.
