Fountain Central Baseball Varsity vs Sheridan (1 - 11) Loss Fountain Central Varsity Mustangs fell to Sheridan 11–1 on Monday after a big second inning by Sheridan. Fountain Central scored first in the opening inning when Davis doubled to drive in a run. Sheridan responded with six runs in the second, taking advantage of several Fountain Central errors along with timely hits. Wildman pitched five innings for the Mustangs, allowing eight runs, though only two were earned. Davis and Adams recorded the only hits for Fountain Central, with Davis also driving in the team’s lone run. Sheridan finished with nine hits on the night, led by Bales with three hits and McWhorter with two RBIs.
