THIS WEEK IN MUSTANG SPORTS (May 11-16) • IHSAA Baseball Sectional pairings were announced last Sunday. FC travels to Riverton Parke for our sectional and will face Faith Christian in Game 2 of the sectional: • Wed, May 27  5pm – North Vermillion vs Attica  7:30pm – Fountain Central vs Faith Christian • Sat, May 30  12pm – NV/Attica vs Fountain Central/Faith Christian  2:30pm – Riverton Parke vs Covington • Mon, June 1  6:30pm – Sectional Championship • IHSAA Softball Sectional pairings were announced last Sunday. Wednesday, May 13, will be the Senior Awards Program in the cafeteria at Fountain Central. • Mustang Tennis has announced their summer camps and the dates of the McTagertt Invitational. See attachments for details. • Fountain Central JV Baseball has added 3 additional JV games: • Saturday, May 9, HOME, 11am, vs Smont • Wednesday, May 13, HOME, 5:30pm vs N Putnam • Monday, May 18, AWAY, 5:30pm, @ LCC • The WRC Track & Field Championships will be held Thursday, May 14, at North Vermillion High School. Good luck to our boys and girls track athletes as they compete for all-conference honors. • Fountain Central hosts the WRC girls’ tennis tournament on Saturday, May 16, and Monday, May 18. Good luck to the Lady Mustangs and Thank You to Dave Kight and Chris Webb for organizing and running a fantastic tournament. The WRC tournament is also when the Terry Field Sportsmanship Award will be handed out. • Due to field conditions last week, the baseball and softball teams will play at Attica on Tuesday, May 12.
