The 8th grade also defeated the Crawfordsville Athenians 26 to 24. Despite only have five 8th grade girls, the Mustangs attacked early and played hard the entire game. Our Mustangs were led by Kynli Brooker with 12 points, Hattie Deel added 5, while Amiya Welles, Megan Hayes, and Mari Montero Leon each added 3 points. Kiylah Hutson's leadership on the defensive end helped the Mustangs to pull out the win.
