Fountain Central Baseball Wins vs Faith Christian 7-0 Fountain Central Varsity Mustangs opened postseason play with a dominant 7–0 victory over Faith Christian on Thursday at Riverton Parke. Batchelor and Davis combined to throw a two-hit shutout, with Batchelor earning the win after striking out seven over five innings and Davis closing the game with two scoreless innings. The Mustangs took the lead in the first inning on an RBI single by Cervantes and steadily added to their advantage throughout the game. Davis led the offense with three hits, while Batchelor also collected three hits and Cervantes drove in two runs. Fountain Central finished with 12 hits and played flawless defense, committing no errors in the field. With the sectional victory, the Mustangs advance to the next round and will return to Riverton Parke on Saturday at noon against Attica.
