Fountain Central Varsity vs Covington (2 - 4) Loss Fountain Central Varsity Mustangs fell to Covington 4–2 on Tuesday in a tightly contested game. Fountain Central took an early lead in the fourth inning, scoring two runs on a Covington error. Covington responded in the fifth, tying the game with a sacrifice bunt and an RBI single. The game remained tied until the eighth inning, when Covington took the lead with two RBI singles. Davis pitched well in the loss, going eight innings while allowing four runs and striking out six.
