The 8th grade team worked their way back into the game. Getting the Southmont lead to within two with just under 2 minutes to go. Unfortunately they fell short. Several Mustangs had an opportunity to score. Leading the way for the 8th grade was Avery Austin with 4 points, Natalyn Wesley and Kynli Brooker followed with 3 points a piece, Lilly Crowder, Hattie Deel, Megan Hayes, Kiylah Hutson, and Mari Leon Montero all scored 2 points a piece. The 8th grade Lady Mustangs are back in action with the 7th grade as they play as a combined team in the Bi-County tournament on Saturday. They will play at Seeger Tip off is at 9:00 am.
