The Lady Mustangs rallied late to improve to 17-2. Fountain Central relied on their defense in order to force Riverton Parke into 17 turnovers. The Mustangs rebounding and free throws propelled them to victory. Bella Bacon played a well rounded game tonight scoring 14 points, pulling in 7 rebounds, 2 steals, an assist, and a block. Cadence White follows with 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. Aubrey Ashwill finished the evening with 7 rebounds, 4 points, and a block. Henley Good finished the evening with 3 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 blocks, and a steal. Kendyl Nolan earned a steal, a block, an assist, 2 rebounds, and 3 points. Citrus Wesley finished the evening with 6 rebounds, a steal, and an assist. The Lady Mustangs have a shot at earning a three way tie for the Wabash River Conference. They will face the Parke Heritage Wolves at home on Thursday, January 22. The junior varsity will play 2 quarters starting at 6:00pm. The varsity will follow.
