7th Grade vs Seeger (49 - 44) Win 7th Grade vs Covington (21 - 27) Loss The Mustangs wrapped up their season at the Bi-County Tournament with a hard-fought day of basketball. In the opening game, they defeated the Seeger Patriots 49–44 after jumping out to a quick 13–3 start. They battled through a tight game that saw them holding a one-point lead at halftime before finishing strong. In the championship game, the Mustangs fell to the Covington Trojans 27–21 in a tough defensive contest. Covington was able to control the tempo and disrupt the Mustangs’ rhythm, but the Mustangs defended well throughout and forced difficult shots. The season comes to a close with a 14–3 record, highlighted by steady improvement, unselfish play, and a team-first mentality. This group proved to be excellent teammates and passers, and the future is bright as they continue to grow and play together in the years ahead.
