Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School

The Mustangs were able to get a much needed win against South Vermillion with the score 48-30. Fountain Central got off to a great start scoring the games first 7 points on their way to scoring 14 in the 1st quarter. The Wildcats had a tough time scoring out of the gate as they only scored 4 in the 1st and just 10 for the half. Laine Hester and Nolan Acton took over the 2nd quarter as they took care of the scoring for the Mustangs combining for 8 points. Halftime saw the Mustangs with a 12 point lead, which is their biggest lead of the season. South Vermillion kept fighting in the 2nd half scoring 20 points. However, the Mustang offense kept rolling in the 2nd half behind Noah Dodson's 6 points and Eli Foxworthy's 9. Fountain Central was led in scoring by Eli Foxworthy with 15, followed by Ayden Batchelor with 9 and Fountain Trust's player of the game Nolan Acton with 8.
