Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School

The JV Mustangs lost a close game last night against South Vermillion 28-32. Fountain Central played well in the first half until they let the Wildcats go on an 8-0 run to end the half. FC had a small lead until the run, then they went into the half down 11-17. The Mustangs fought back in the 3rd by holding the Wildcats to just 2 points. The 4th quarter saw each team trading baskets. FC cut the lead to 2 with 30 seconds left. They got the ball back with time to score, but SV was able to get a steal that sealed the game. The Mustangs were led in scoring by Tucker Ashwill with 10, followed by Carson Kirkpatrick with 8.
