Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School

Fountain Central scores a season high of 67 points in win over Covington. The Mustangs forced 27 turnovers while only giving up 15 points. The Mustangs capitalized on turnovers scoring in transition. The Mustangs finished the evening with 21 assists and 11 blocks. Leading the way for the Mustangs was with Cadence White with 14 points, 5 assists, 4 steals, a block, and a rebound. Kendyl Nolan follows with 13 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. Aubrey Ashwill follows with her second double-double of the season. She scored 10 points, but more importantly was all over the boards pulling in 15 rebounds. She also finished with 2 blocks and 2 assists. Henley Good finished with 9 points, 4 assists, 4 blocks, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. Citrus Wesley pulled in 5 rebounds, 6 steals, 6 assists, and 6 points. Cassandra Wildman finished the evening with a rebound and a 3 pointer. Jailynn Wolverton capped off our scoring by knocking down her free throws to give us our 67th point. Kynleigh Elkins pulled 2 rebounds and 2 steals to round out the stat lines. The varsity team is back in action on Tuesday, January 20th at home. They face off against Riverton Parke. Junior varsity will play at 6:00 pm 2 quarters. Varsity game to follow.
