Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School

The Lady Mustangs played a well rounded game defeating the Attica Red Ramblers 51-9. The Lady Mustangs defense forced Attica to turn the ball over 29 times. Citrus Wesley was a key hustler within the win. She earned 6 steals, and pushed the tempo on the offensive end. She was able to find her teammates down the floor connecting with them to earn 6 assists. Citrus also had 3 rebounds on the day. Kendyl Nolan was back in the starting lineup. She led the Mustangs in scoring with 15 points. She also pulled in 4 rebounds and had an assist. Bella Bacon follows closely in scoring with 14 points. Bella pulled in 3 rebounds, earned a block, a steal, and an assist. Henley Good finished this morning's game with 8 points, 3 steals, 2 assists, and a rebound. Cadence White finished the game with 7 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, and a steal. Cassandra Wildman was able to connect on some free throws to earn 3 points. She was also able to pull in a rebound. Aubrey Ashwill earned an assist, a block, a steal, 2 rebounds, and 2 points in the win. Makayla Carnahan rounds out our scoring for the Mustangs with 2 points. Kynleigh Elkins had an assist and 2 steals. Fountain Central will continue conference play on Monday January 12 as they travel to Covington High School. Junior varsity will play 2 quarters at 6:00 pm and varsity will follow.
