Girls Sectional Tournament Varsity Wrestling at Crawfordsville Fountain Central Placed Second as a team at the Girls Wrestling Sectional at Crawfordsville today. With a First place finish, Riley Deel stays undefeated with a record of 26-0. Finishing in 2nd place were Lydia Perkins, Savanna Richardson, Jayden Larkin, and Ruby Deel. Amira Welles placed 3rd, Katelyn DePugh placed 4th, and Reese Walters finished the day in 6th place. Fountain Central was leading in team points until the 3rd round, where only having 8 wrestlers hurt us. The girls came out and fought hard to come away with a second place finish, overall. Seven of our girls are advancing on to the Regional in Kokomo next weekend to see if they can make it on to the State Finals the following week. Congratulations, and good luck moving on, ladies!
