Fountain Central Loses a Close one to Rossville High School The Mustangs had to adjust to not having a key starter in Bella Bacon today. Several Mustangs had to step up. They played well together, but despite the team effort the Mustangs fell short to a really good team in the Rossville Hornets. The Hornets defeated the Mustangs by a score of 41-36. The Mustangs had several players perform well in spite of the results. Henley Good played a great game scoring 14 points and earning 2 assists. Kendyl Nolan was able to score 11 points. Aubrey Ashwill had another strong performance on the board pulling down 7 rebounds while also earning 5 points. Citrus Wesley pulled in 8 rebounds and scored 4 points. Kynleigh Elkins helped the Mustangs by going 2 for 2 from the free throw line, earning 4 steals, and pulling in 3 rebounds. The Lady Mustangs will play again on Tuesday November 18th as they will take on the Crawfordsville Athenians. Junior Varsity will begin their 2 quarters at 6:00 pm and Varsity will follow.
