The Mustangs beat a quick North Montgomery team 41–22 on Thursday night. The team struggled to finish around the rim in the first half and went into halftime holding a narrow 15–12 lead. After the break, defense and smart guard play set the tone, creating stops that turned into better scoring opportunities.
