Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School

The Mustangs opened Saturday’s tournament with a strong 58–45 win over Clinton Central. Every player contributed—starters set the tone early, and the bench came in to help finish the game. In the semifinal game against Bethesda, the Mustangs battled for three quarters, staying within four points until the fourth, but ultimately fell 35–48 as Bethesda’s trapping defense caused trouble. Despite the loss, the team showed toughness, effort, and growth throughout the day.
